My Binoculars: Politicians dreaming of the coveted prize come 2023 in Nigeria

There is no crime in dreaming in this world. The only disadvantage of some dreams is that it could get you into big trouble if you tok am to the “wrong person” . Out of inexperience Joseph in the Good book started dreaming and before you know ‘wetin dey’ happen, his brothers got offended and threw him up for sale after God’s wisdom prevailed. He was taken to Egypt and we all know how the dreamer boy became number two man in the land of the Pharaohs. That too was due to God’s interference because he was to become a savior to his people years after when he became a political figure.

Mere talking about number one and two in Nigeria today may equally offend some people who see themselves as godfathers in politics of the two major parties now All Progressive Congress APC and Peoples Democratic Party PDP insulting us now with wrong doings and high class pervasiveness. This is because the politics of the so-called two parties have never been able to give us even 30 percent of the dividends of democracy we are entitled to. Both parties have always stolen the 70 percent meant for the masses by their masters. They appoint cronies who know nothing about service to humanity and assume life will go on just like that. How many states have been able to supply clean drinking water to their people since 1999? How many Nigerians have been able to take breakfast today? Not to talk of school kids. They talk about school feeding programs? But their methodology is spiced with forensic corruption. How many school kids benefit from that food, even one egg daily? We are praying that petroleum products return to less than 100 naira per litre yet the NNPC boss is talking about over N300 per litre for PMS in 2022. And these are loyalists to the present ruling party. Look at the dreams they had to put down insurgency when they campaigned for the presidency yet all was cut short after a while of General Buratai reversing the gains if the terrorists. If the Boko Haram was supposed to have been silenced, it should have happened when a daring officer lt col Abu Ali was in the field and was the delight of any chief because he went after the insurgents instead of waiting for them to come and rubbish his men as they did in Gudumbali and Metele after his demise. Even the doctrine and system of recruitment into the military is faulty and must be tampered with if they must defeat the insurgents.

When the opposition to PDP was in power, it was the same story. Security failures all over the country by the political leaders and the commander in chief choosing the wrong generals as ministers. Or even refusing to appeal to big countries to fight a war bigger than the capacity of the soldiers we see on ground in the theatre.  Both parties have failed Nigerians. They don’t even understand the people they are ruling. They treat the people like putrid specimens inside political burettes in their political laboratories. It’s so sad that the majority of the people are yet to understand the wickedness of some of these party chieftains which they achieve most times using the opium of the same masses “religion”. So people vote only for empty vessels without the capacity for righting any wrong.

Why Nigerians kill themselves over religion

Of the over 1000 religions in the world today, only two are considered when it comes to who gets what in Nigeria. Many residents are holding their rosaries looking up to heaven as I pound my keyboard and meditating that God should consider someone who practices their religion when it comes to the next Commander in chief. But of a truth Bahai nor go get am, Hindu Nigerian President? God forbid. He will be dropped during primaries, he can only win in India. Confucianism mixed with Maoism in Aso rock? red card. Even Judaism will not be allowed to scale primaries because they will not tolerate a synagogue being built inside Aso Rock not to talk of a Nigerian Buddhist temple beside the church when the new Tenant gets in.  Satanism? well since some of them de cult and go to the church of Satan, who knows this time around, they may be tolerated. But will the confused two big religious groups fighting each other allow a temple of Satan there when the fellow bares his fangs? The answer is no. It is very common for people to vote on religious basis in Nigeria but the same country will never tolerate the freedom of other religious groups to even pay for their forms to contest. Each group is allowed to win more converts yet when it comes to politics they seem to have a common umbrella or broom to sweep. After all it’s only the two religious groups that have structures of worship in Aso Rock so  let the satanic party continue.

Why most partisan political figures lie a lot

I interviewed a powerful man of God name withheld who told me that he would rather sleep and tolerate the cold radiating from the skin of a big python rubbing on him in the same bed than sleep in the same room with a dangerous lie-lie lying partisan politician in Nigeria. They are the destroyers of the polity anywhere using any weapon including “religion” to divide and rule the people. The ruling party came in and told us they will end insecurity but almost at the end of their second term they are still struggling to end anything including banditry.

They told us they will fix the economy yet since they came the naira has become worse.  The Nigerian politician politicizes anything in this world including the underwater of his spouse. If not because the previous commander in chief was PDP and the then Governor Kashim Shettima was APC , he would not have waited for 22 days before calling the Governor to confirm that 276 girls were taken from government girls secondary school Chibok. He would have been there the same day. His wife committed one of the greatest abominations in the world by summoning the principal of the Chibok School publicly to shame her yet the helpless President could not stop her from such dangerous wrong doing.

It is now obvious that the salvation of this nation according to fiery preacher Prophet El Buba is in the hands of God and not within PDP or APC. A new Nigeria can only be fixed if the majority of young people create a third force and refuse to do things the same failed way. The Nigerian electorates know those who are mere dreamers according to Pastor Tunde Bakare and they will surely punish them at the fullness of time. It is time to dream of a new party for the formation of a new Nigeria where most corrupt political figures will be punished for taking everyone for granted. If there is punishment in heaven why not punish these dangerous politicians here before they go to hell?
