Aspirant for the position of member Representing Nangere/Potiskum Federal Constituency in Yobe state, Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Bazuwa has pledged to make a good representation if given the mandate to represent the people in 2023.

Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Bazuwa (Jagan Tikau) disclosed this to NEWSng shortly after making his declaration speech at the State APC office in Damaturu.

He said, “if elected I pledge to cooperate with my constituents, party and the government to give the most dynamic, purposive and beneficial representation and also to collaborate with Federal, State and Non – Governmental organisations to build more schools and bring more educational programmes to improve the quality of education in both urban and rural communities.

“Represent the interest of my constituents and provide necessary basic amenities to foster economic growth and development as well as to empower the small and medium sized enterprises which constitute 96% of our businesses and 84% of employment if I was elected.

“I will also ensure that the rights of women, children and people living with disabilities are protected, support and improve the girl child education and support our teeming youth who are interested in sports to achieve their dreams and also to promote the participation of youths and women in politics.”He said

Bazuwa also pointed out that, if elected he will ensure that Yobe state quota in the federal employments is respected and abided under federal character and also to liaise with Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Boards and Parastatals in driving infrastructural development in our dear state, such as access roads, modern agricultural farming equipment, water etc.

Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Bazuwa currently a member representing Potiskum central at the State House of Assembly since 2015 and a loyal and card carrying member of the APC, maintained that, politics is about bringing changes to our communities and adding value to the life of our electorates through dynamic and effective representations and also creating a cohesive and vibrant community that unites both youth and old is important in nurturing the growth of individuals and families.

“Nangere/Potiskum is such a Constituency where people build a better and more prosperous future for themselves as farmers, businessmen/women, politicians and civil servants.

“I have the necessary skills and experience to contribute to the development of my constituency, state and the country at large and also i will use the wealth of my experience as a minority leader being a chairman and member of various committees in the state House of Assembly in driving developmental projects for my constituency and the state at Large.” He said
