NATA Chairman Urges Buni To Establish Mechanic Village Across 17 LGA In Yobe

The Chairman Yobe State Nigeria Auto Mobile Technician Association (NATA), Alhaji Muhammed Suleiman Nagari has appeal to Governor Mai Mala Buni to provide them with mechanical village in the 17 local government areas of the state.
He said mechanics in Yobe state have so many problems but the major one is mechanical village if the governor provide them with the mechanical village in all the seventeen local government areas about 90% of their problems would be solved.
“Infact this lack of the places where our members will settle to do their job is become a major problem to all mechanics in Yobe state, adding that, only Nguru town have mechanical village in Yobe.” Nagari said.
He revealed that, major towns in Yobe state like Damaturu, the state capital, Potiskum, Geidam, Gashua, Buni Yadi and Damagum all this are major towns but they don’t have mechanical village, adding that their members are suffering to get place to do their business.
“If government provide us with mechanical village in all 17 local government headquarters even the generation of the revenue of the local governments and the state government will increase, because the majority of our members are hired the place to work.
“For example, if you are paying 100,000 or 200,000 yearly for the rent of land and if the revenue collector come to collect only10,000 as a revenue from him it will be difficult for him to pay it, because the land owner has already collected the money but if government give him his permanent side even 20,000 he will pay it as a revenue without wahala.” He added.
Alhaji Muhammed Suleiman Nagari maintained that, infact we are seriously need the mechanical village in all 17 local government areas of the state during the 2023 campaign they promise to us through the Secretary to the State Government that they will give us mechanical village.
Therefore, we are appealing to His Excellency to see us with good faith we mechanics in Yobe state we are in critical condition but no time to mention them now we want the governor to listen this our problem.
If His Excellency, Governor Mai Mala Buni provide us with mechanical village he has already solved all our problems of mechanics in Yobe state we forfit the race this lack of mechanical village is our major pain now.
Alhaji Nagari revealed that, governor Mai Mala Buni has play a good role within his four years he provide a developmental projects in Yobe state and even we mechanics we would not forget Governor Mai Mala Buni because we enjoyed the dividend of democracy during his administration.
He said during the Mai Mala Buni administration they send our members for training in Kaduna like to say other past governors did what Mai Mala did by now we would not take any vehicle outside Yobe for repair.
Therefore, we are praying for him as he completed his first tenure successful, we are prayed to Allah to blessed him and also help him to complete this four years successful.

Security forces neutralise two notorious bandits in Benue clearance operation

Security forced have neutralised two suspected notorious bandits during a clearance operation in Ukum Local Government Area of the state.
Sources told Zagazola that the operation followed credible intelligence received on Tuesday at about 1:00 p.m.
The report indicated that a criminal gang led by one Senen Hemen, also known as Orpa, was sighted along the pipeline axis between Gbeji and Igbongom communities in Ukum.
According to the sources, security forces were promptly mobilised to the location, where the gang engaged the operatives in a gun duel.
During the exchange, Hemen and another gang member identified as Mzungweve Ichur, both from Igbongom, were shot dead, while others fled the scene with gunshot injuries.
The sources confirmed that the corpses of the two suspects had been recovered and deposited at a private mortuary in Gbeji, while a manhunt had been launched in the surrounding bushes to track the fleeing accomplices.
The sources assured residents that the operation was part of ongoing efforts to rid Ukum and adjoining areas of violent criminal gangs.

Gunmen abduct worshipper in Oyo community

Gunmen have abducted a worshipper from a mosque in Gbonkan Village, Ipapo, Itesiwaju Local Government Area.
Sources said that the victim, identified as Amadu Usman, was kidnapped on Monday night while praying at the mosque alongside his elder brother, Adamu Usman.
The sources said seven armed men invaded the mosque at about 9 p.m. and whisked the victim away to an unknown destination.
The sources said that a joint team of security forces, Amotekun Corps, vigilantes and local hunters had since launched a search-and-rescue operation, combing surrounding bushes to track down the suspects and rescue the victim.

Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA repel bandit attack in Malumfashi, Katsina

Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA, in collaboration with the Police, Community Watch Corps and local vigilantes, have repelled a bandit attack in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State.
Sources said that the incident happened on Tuesday evening when armed bandits launched an attack on a hunters’ camp in Naalma village.
According to the sources, the troops and other security operatives responded swiftly to a distress call and engaged the bandits in a fierce gun battle, forcing them to withdraw.
“During the operation, Usman Lawal, 35, the Commander of the Hunters’ group, sustained fatal injuries. One of the bandits was neutralised while the rifle earlier seized from the hunters’ commander was recovered.
“Other fleeing bandits are suspected to have escaped with gunshot wounds. Troops are currently conducting cordon-and-search operations within the area,”said the sources.
