Nigeria: 200 houses burnt over land dispute in Plateau
No fewer than 200 houses were reportedly burnt down by suspected herdsmen on Saturday night in Jebbu, Miango, Bassa Local Government in Plateau State in north-central Nigeria
NEWSng gathered that the attack occurred as a result of internal conflict over land grabbing in the area.
The long communal struggle over land in the area between the Miango community and Fulanis has now degenerated in the harvest of human lives including women and children.

The information available to this medium revealed that at least three persons were injured during the attack.
The Plateau Police Command spokesman, ASP. Gabriel Ubah disclosed to journalists that the situation has been brought under control and normalcy restored in the area.
According to him, “As I speak, we cannot confirm whether over 200 houses were burnt. Details will be available soon,” he said.
