The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, extends his warm congratulations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad of the Republic of Tunisia, His Excellency, Mohamed Ali Nafti, on the occasion of their Independence Anniversary.

This historic day marks a significant milestone in Tunisia’s journey as a sovereign nation, reflecting the resilience, determination, and unity of the Tunisian people in their pursuit of freedom, peace, and prosperity. Nigeria commends Tunisia for its remarkable achievements in nation-building, democratic governance, and socio-economic development.

As fellow members of the African Union and the broader international community, Nigeria and Tunisia share a commitment to fostering peace, stability, and sustainable development on the continent. We value the strong bilateral relations between our two countries and look forward to deepening our collaboration in areas of mutual interest, including trade, education, culture, and security.

On this auspicious occasion, Nigeria reaffirms its solidarity with the Republic of Tunisia and expresses its unwavering support for Tunisia’s continued progress and prosperity.
