Nigeria: Uneasy in ISWAP, Boko Haram Camps As MNJTF, US Personnel deploy to conduct Joint Operations

The Multinational Joint Task Force and Personnel of the US is partnering to conduct military joint operations around Fiego and Ngaroua Gana general areas on the fringes of River Kamadougou-Yobe in Diffa regions of Niger republic and areas around the northern Borno state in northeast Nigeria.
The Operations to weed out ISWAP and Boko Haram elements operating withing the region is scheduled from 11-13 October 2022.
NEWSng gathered that, already Special Forces from Malamfatori and Damasak has been stationed strategically to provide the blocking force along the boundaries, especially within Gashagar general area.
A source within the area informed NEWSng that the terrorists were seen on Tuesday trying to escape the possible onslaught by military joint operations.

“But with blocking everywhere before the operations begins there are confidence withing the joint forces to deal decisively with these criminal elements, who are already in disarray.” The source said.
According to the source, there are also ongoing Air Raid by the air component of Operation Hadin Kai in Dikwa-Ngala general area towards th Tosoye, Tongue and Wasele and Modu Kaza with precision and dozens of ISWAP and Boko Haram elements were reportedly hit and many resulting casualty.
“I think the strategy to deal with these terrorists organisations operating in the northeast corner is working. The Operations is ongoing andany of them who refused to surrender are facing the music.” He added.
NEWSng also reports that, Boko Haram elements stage an ambush along Bama – Banki general area on a convoy of Special Forces moving on clearance operation. But the ambush was successfully repel with heavy casualties on the side of the insurgents who were displaced and are in disarray.
It was earlier gathered that the terrorists attacked the convoy of civilians vehicles along Ngala – Dikwa road. However, the civilians were rescued when Special Forces on clearance operations deployed to the area were on time at the spot between Knewba and Missing about 13km south of Ngala local government area of Borno state in northeast Nigeria.
