NIGERIAN TROOPS FOIL TERRORIST AMBUSH, NEUTRALIZE ONE TERRORIST

The troops of 21 Armoured Brigade Pulka, in conjunction with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), foiled an ambush by Boko Haram terrorists, killing one in Borno State.
The incident occurred on September 13, 2024, at approximately 6:55 pm, along the Ngoshe-Ashigashiya road.
Zagazola Makama understands that the troops engaged the terrorists, who were attempting to cross towards the Mandara Mountains with a bag containing stolen corn, and neutralized one terrorist.
Others fled in disarray with possible gunshot wounds.
