North- East Economic Forum Calls For Roundtable Conference

A Lead Convener of the North- East Economic Forum- Nigeria (NEEF) Comrade Sadiq Jikta has call on the government and people of the northeast region to join hands with the forum to stimulate and facilitate economic development as means of empowering the people through abound economic potentials in the region.

Speaking to newsmen recently at his office in Abuja the Convener said that the need to have a standing economic platform is necessary in this part of the country.

He said “the forum will soon have a roundtable conference with stakeholders and like minds from all the states and local government areas in the zone”.

Comrade Jikta informed Journalists that the North- East Economic Forum- Nigeria will not only concentrate and partner with businessmen and women in the region but will extend to other parts of the country and collaborate with others.

“This forum is fully registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as incorporated trustees,” he added.   

Jikta is the Executive Director of Global Network for Knowledge and Development (GNKD) a Non- Governmental Organization (NGO) that explores economic and development knowledge in Nigeria.
