NUJ Borno State Council Pays Condolence Visit to Senator Baba Kaka Bashir Garbai

A delegation from the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Borno State Council, led by the Council Chairman, Comrade Dauda Iliya, and accompanied by the Chairman of the Correspondents’ Chapel, paid a condolence visit today to the family of Senator Baba Kaka Bashir Garbai. The visit was to express their deepest condolences on the passing of the Senator’s beloved mother, late Hajja Zainab Abba Bashir.

The delegation, representing all working journalists in the state, offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased and wished eternal rest upon her. They also conveyed their heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family, praying that they find the fortitude and courage to bear the irreparable loss.

A condolence letter, signed by the Council Secretary Chiroma Ali Ibrahim on behalf of the NUJ Borno State Council, was presented to Senator Garbai. The letter expressed the union’s deep sorrow for the Senator’s loss and highlighted the late Hajja Zainab’s enduring legacy of kindness and compassion.
