NUJ Yobe Council sympathises with victims of Damaturu rainstorm

The Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Yobe State Council, has commiserated with the families of the victims of a recent rainstorm in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital.

The message is contained in a statement signed by Rajab Mohammed, the council’s Chairman, on Thursday in Damaturu.

While he described the incident as a natural disaster from the almighty Allah, Mohammed prayed for the repose of the departed souls.

The chairman wished those who sustained various degrees of injuries a quick recovery.

He commended Gov. Mai Mala Buni for the timely support to the victims through the State Emergency Management Agency
