Personnel Welfare: Yobe State Police Command Celebrates Promotion of 76 Officers

As part of efforts to strengthen its personnel’s working capabilities, the Nigeria Police Force has recently promoted a large number of officers to their next ranks. In this development, 76 personnel of the Yobe State Police Command benefited from promotions across three categories: from Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Deputy Superintendent of Police to Superintendent of Police (SP) and Superintendent to Chief Superintendent of Police(CSP).

Today, the Commissioner of Police, CP Garba Ahmed, decorated the promoted officers with their new ranks amidst a large crowd of well-wishers, loved ones, and government functionaries.

In his remarks, CP Garba Ahmed expressed his appreciation to the gathering and called on the promoted officers to remain resolute and steadfast in the discharge of their statutory responsibilities. He emphasized the importance of upholding professionalism and respecting human rights.

The Commissioner of Police also thanked the invited guests, families, and friends, while assuring his unwavering commitment to ensuring the security and safety of all residents in Yobe State.
