Police Arrest Prime Suspect in Zuba Homicide Case, Accomplice at Large

The Nigerian Police Force(NPF) FCT Command has arrested an 18-year-old suspect, Abba Abdulsalam, in connection with the murder of a 42-year-old man, Mohammed Abdulrahman, in Zuba.

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the incident, which occurred on January 29, 2025, at around 11:00 p.m., was reported by Abdulmaleek Ohere of Madalla, Niger State, who informed Zuba Police Division that the victim had been stabbed to death near the NNPC Filling Station, Zuba, by unknown assailants.

Following an investigation, police operatives arrested Abdulsalam, who later confessed to the crime. He admitted that he and an accomplice, identified as Sadiq (surname unknown) of Kaduna Road, Niger State, stabbed the victim before robbing him of ₦113,000.

The police have launched a manhunt for the fleeing suspect, while efforts to recover the stolen money are ongoing.
