Potiskum Caretaker Chairman Swear-in Management Committee, Urged to Work at Team

The Chairman Caretaker Management Committee of Potiskum Local Government, Alhaji Salisu Muktari has urged the advisers and members of the management committees to unite and work as a team to develop the local government.

Alhaji Salisu Muktari gave the charge while swearing-in the seven advisers and ten members of the management committees at the Town Hall Potiskum local government.

He blamed the past chairmen of the local government council for neglecting the primary schools land which allowed some unpatriotic citizens to allocate it for their personal pilot.

The Chairman maintained that the door of his administration is always open to receive a genuine advice which will contribute in developing the Potiskum local government area.

“I made a proposal of four motor parks in Potiskum local government and call on individuals to establish a private motor park if you have enough land,  the local government will issue him a license with a view to boost the revenue generation of the local government.” Muktari added.

The Chairman call on the people of the local government to always be law abiding, adding that, flailing of trees unnecessary is prohibited and urge the people to report any person who is cut in flailing the trees with out permission to the local government.

In his welcome address, the Director of Personal Management of the council, Alhaji Adamu Dagona said we are here to witness the inauguration of the advisers and the members of the management committee of the council.

He said, two weeks ago His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni swearing-in the chairmen caretaker committee in Damaturu and directed all the Chairmen sweon in their advisers and members of the committees.

In his vote of thanks, the Adviser of Finance and Administration, Alhaji Ado Hamza Ngojin call on his colleagues and members of the management committees to unit and work for the development of the council.

He also urged them to give their maximum support and cooperation to the chairman in order to move the local government forward.
