Protest: Curfew relaxes in three affected LGAs in Yobe

Yobe state police command has announced an adjustment to the curfew in the affected local government areas, namely Potiskum, Gashua, and Nguru.
This was contained in a press release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, which was made available to newsmen in Damaturu.
The new curfew hours are from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., effective immediately.
According to the release, this adjustment aims to maintain law and order while allowing businesses and daily activities to resume.
“Residents in the affected local government areas are urged to strictly adhere to the curfew. Non-compliance will result in arrest and prosecution.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Garba Ahmed, appeals to the public to cooperate with security agencies in restoring peace and stability and ensuring that criminal elements are contained.
