The North-East Geopolitical Zone with six states as its integral part has not been doing well in terms of industrialization despite the large presence of commercial activities that should have caused the establishment of industries in the region.

More so, the small scale business ventures have refused to grow into medium scale. While the medium scale are dosing, and some had completely died while others had folded-up due to financial and management challenges that are always pulling down businesses as a result of human error. 

The agricultural potentials, her large market for goods and services should have given the birth to agro-allied industries because of the availability of raw materials in the region. 

The presence of few companies in the region is not doing badly in their own capacity in production of goods and services. Likes of Ramadan Press Limited and others is a twinkle of hope for the business environment of Bauchi State.

Looking at that sum of money, I will personally give kudos to the Bauchi State Government for loaning out such a huge amount of money.
