Renewed Hope Initiative Brings Relief to Vulnerable Groups in Benue State

The Renewed Hope Initiative’s Food Distribution Program, under its Social Investment Scheme, continues to support vulnerable groups across Nigeria. Today, persons with disabilities, internally displaced persons, and women in Benue State received assorted food items and donations.

Representing Senator Oluremi Tinubu, First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Hajiya Nana Shettima, Wife of the Vice President and Vice Chairman of Renewed Hope Initiative, made a symbolic presentation at the Benue Chemical and Fertilizer Company in Makurdi, the state capital.

Hajiya Shettima emphasized that the RHI Food Distribution Scheme is driven by a passion to serve and uplift communities. She highlighted the scheme’s tangible impact in various states and committed to reaching every corner of the nation.

She urged beneficiaries to utilize the items judiciously for their families, assuring that RHI will continue supporting vulnerable groups, particularly youths, women, and children, through programs in Health,Education,Agriculture,Social Investment and Economic Empowerment

Benue State Deputy Governor, Barrister Sam Ode, who received the RHI delegation on behalf of the Government of Benue State appreciated the gesture, acknowledging the state government’s role in selecting credible beneficiaries for the RHI Food Distribution Program.

The event featured presentations to beneficiaries according to the groups and traditional dances for the guests.
