Sani appointed CEO of the of the National Commission for Out-School Children, Almajiri.

Yobe State Commissioner of Basic and Secondary Education, Dr. Muhammad Sani Idris, has been appointed as the Executive Secretary and CEO of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education.
President Bola Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the appointment of a new leadership for the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education.
Brigadier-General Lawal Ja’afar Isa (Rtd) is now to serve as the Chairman of the Board of the Commission, and Yobe State Commissioner of Basic and Secondary Education, Dr. Muhammad Sani Idris, is to serve as the Executive Secretary/CEO of the commission.
Dr. Muhammad Sani Idris holds masters and doctorate degrees in Islamic studies, and he was also the Director-General of Al-Iman School Lafia and Chairman of the Nigerian Arabic Language Village in Borno State.
Dr. Idris is also a member of the Nasarawa State Government Committee on Enlightenment Campaign and Secretary General of the of the Association of Private Schools in Nasarawa State.
The president expects that the new appointees will bring their vast experience to the management of this critical commission, which impacts the very core of society.
