Senator Lawan condoles Kyari Mele

President of the Ninth Senate, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan, Ph.D., GCON, Sardaunan Bade, Yobe North Senatorial District, has paid a condolence visit to the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mr. Mele Kyari, OFR, over the loss of his beloved daughter, Fatima.

Fatima Kyari, aged 25, passed away in Abuja on Friday, 10th October 2024.

During the condolence visit of the former president of the 9th Senate, Senator Ahmed Lawan extended his deepest sympathies to Mr. Kyari and his family during this difficult time of mourning.

“I acknowledge the immense pain and grief that the family was going through, as the loss of a child is an unimaginable heartbreak that no parent should ever have to endure.” Senator Lawan said.

Senator Lawan revealed that everyone present at the time of his visit offered their prayers for the grieving family and repose of the deceased.

He added that Fatima Kyari was a promising young woman with a bright future ahead of her. Her demise is a great loss to her family and the nation as a whole.

“May Allah (SWT) grant her soul eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus. Amin. He pray.
