President of the Ninth Senate, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan, Ph.D., GCON Yobe North Senatorial District, extends profound and heartfelt congratulations to Governor Mai Mala Buni, CON, the Yobe state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and all the newly elected Chairmen and Councillors on the party’s landslide victory in the just concluded local government elections, which were held on Saturday, June 8, 2024.

“The resounding victory of our party is a testimony to the confidence and trust of the people of Yobe State in the leadership of our governor and the APC’s commitment to delivering services and good governance in the state.” Senator Lawan said.

He commends the party leadership for its strategic planning, effective campaigns, and mobilization of voters. Your efforts have not only led to a decisive victory but have also reinforced the APC’s dominance in Yobe State.

Senator Ahmed Lawan maintains that this victory is a significant moment for both the AC and our people. It provides our party with a fresh mandate to continue to deliver on our campaign promises of prosperity and improved living standards.

He maintained that the newly elected and swearing-in chairmen and councillors have a crucial role to play in bringing government closer to the people.
