Senator Lawan donates computers to Technical College Gashua

The president of the Ninth Senate, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan, Ph.D., GCON Sardaunan Bade, has recently made provision for desktop computers, internet/network devices, and power supply inverters at the Federal Science Technical College, Gashua, Yobe State.

This donation is part of his commitment to promoting access to quality education and empowering our future leaders in science and technology.

Senator Ahmed Lawan, representing Yobe North Senatorial District in the red chamber, said these resources will provide students and staff with access to a wealth of educational materials and online resources, enabling them to enhance their knowledge, skills, and technology literacy.

The Federal Science and Technical College, Gashua, is an institution that was built by his foundation, the Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan (SAIL) Foundation, when he held sway as president of the 9th senate between 2019 and 2023.

“By providing the college with this critical infrastructure, we aim to support their academic excellence and equip them with the tools they need to succeed in the 21st century economy.

Furthermore, this donation aligns with the Federal Government’s commitment to improving education standards and bridging the digital divide in Nigeria.

By ensuring that students in Gashua have access to the latest technology, we are investing in their future and the future of our nation.

He urges the students and staff of the Federal Science and Technical College, Gashua, to make the most of this generous donation and use these resources to expand their knowledge as well as develop the skills needed to become the leaders of tomorrow.
