There is need for FG to repair all Federal really roads across the country – Bakoji

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of A.H. Yakubu Global Links Nigeria Ltd., Alhaji Haruna Yakubu alias Alhaji Bakoji, has called on the federal government to repair federal highways across the country.

A renowned transporter in Yobe State and Nigeria, Alhaji Bakoji, made this call in his office while speaking to Newsng. He said now that we transporters are always at a loss in our business as a result of the bad condition of the roads in the country.

According to him, “if you loaded goods from the southern part of the country to the northern part of the country, it would take you over 35 days before you reached the north.”

Alhaji Haruna Yakubu, who is also a member of NATO, has over 130 trailers at his disposal and over 1,200 people working under him. He noted that, in one place, you would spend over 10 days as a result of Holdon or Goslow.

He revealed that now the masses are suffering in getting food to eat as a result of the withdrawal of oil subsidies. This is the only product that the poor man is benefiting from.

Alhaji Haruna Yakubu appeals to the people of Nigeria to be patient and continue praying to Almighty Allah to bring an end to this hardship and cost of living.

He also appeals to the government to look into the situation of our people, adding that due to the cost of life as a result of the withdrawal of the oil subsidy, Poor men find it very difficult to feed themselves in this country.
