Tragedy: Groom, 6 Guest Die After Traditional Wedding In Enugu
There was a pandemonium following the deaths of a groom and six wedding guests on Saturday in the community of Eka Utara in Adani, Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.
It was reported that the victims had attended a traditional wedding ceremony in Obollor-Eke in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State on Friday, August 26, and continued with the celebration when they returned to Adani.
In a statement on Sunday, 28th August, the Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Daniel Ndukwe, revealed that the groom and six others were found unconscious in a room with foamy discharge from their mouths, the following morning, Saturday, 27th August.
