Nigerian army troops have arrested three suspected Boko Haram logistics suppliers during a stop-and-search operation along the Maiduguri–Konduga road in Borno State.

The suspects Tijjani Ali (49), Isiyaka Hassan (25), and Ali Idris (19) were intercepted on Sept. 25 with five jerricans of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) concealed in a “Ghana-must-go” bag.

Investigations revealed that two of the suspects were filling station attendants linked to AY Shettima Investment Ltd along Bama road.

The suspects are in custody for further investigation.
