Troops of 3 Division, Nigerian Army, under Operation Safe Haven have rescued two kidnapped victims in the outskirts of Josho Village, Daffo District, Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Sources told Zagazola Makama that the operation was carried out at about 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday following credible intelligence on the location of the victims.

Upon sighting the troops, the kidnappers abandoned their captives and fled into the bush. A search of their hideout led to the rescue of two female victims, identified as 11-year-old Nanbam Adamu and Dorcas Wantu, both from Mbor Village in Mushere District, Bokkos LGA.

The victims were debriefed and handed over to their uncle, Mr. Caleb Mantau, to reunite them with their families.
