Men in black from the Department of Security Services (DSS) have arrested two Boko Haram terrorists over bomb explosion on Tuesday in Sabon Gari area of Kano State North Central Nigeria.

NEWSng reported that the explosion created confusion with the Police saying it was gas explosion, but facts emerged within the week that agrees with the claims by the school and community pointing that it was indeed a human bomb attack at the school.

The DSS operatives recovered four AK-47 riffles, two pistols, suicide vests and several Improvised Explosive Device (IED)-making materials in the rubbles at the scene of the explosion.

Recalled that nine pupils were killed while many others injured as a result of the explosion.

An eye witness account which insisted that it was a suicide bombing particularly that the suicide bomber’s dismembered body was seen after the explosion, further raised beliefs that it wasn’t gas explosion as portrayed by the Kano State Police Command and National emergency and National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA.

“We have said it earlier that the government has been hiding something. How can they say it was a gas cylinder when people have seen the human bomb before explosion. Now what can they tell Nigerians with the new discovery at the scene of the explosion. It mean that these bombers had the motive of attacking Sabon Gari community and not only the school.” Said Andy Chukwuma, a resident of Sabon Gari in Kano state.

NEWSng reports that with this development, Boko Haram terrorists were gradually spreading their operations down North West away from their usual place of operations in the North Eastern Nigeria.

This also confirmed claims by the Kaduna State governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai confirmed Boko Haram terrorists and Ansaru terrorists have taken over two Local Government Areas of Birnin-Gwari and Giwa in Kaduna State.
