Speaking to NEWSng, the Chief Medical Director said, although there are some challenges of funds, which delays the work, the hospital was able to surmount the problem to move on to success.
Ahijo, who was described by staff as a true patriot, seldom spoke about the achievements of his administration at the UMTH.
The Professor of Interventional Radiology, Hospital Administrator of the year (2021) said “the projects are on- going, but some are at the finishing stage, while others are done”
While gauging the mind of the Professor towards a specific project(s) that is dear to him, NEWSng was able to pin it to the Children Centre and the Cancer Centre.
The CMD however told NEWSng that the hospital Management is looking forward to the commissioning of these projects very soon.
