Borno state governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, on Tuesday said electricity supply to the city of Maiduguri will be restored in the next 30 days.
Zulum stated this while presenting the 2022 appropriation bill at the state house of Assembly.

NEWSng reports how the blackout has continued to affect residents, businesses as well as some government agencies whose works solely rely on power.
Public institutions in the state have spent millions of naira to procure fuel for heavy duty generators in order to have power supply to run its programmes since the electrical lines went down.
