He said Dr. Gimba sponsored over 200 disabled and non-disabled people in the zone to learn skills acquisition to become self-reliant and helped them not to depend on begging or the government.

According to him, “Dr. Gimba assisted a lot of people, and we are proud of him, and many of us benefited from the Dr. Hassan Gimba Foundation, and now we have become self-reliant. May the Almighty Allah (SWT) continue to grant him good health.

He further said, “We have learned so many things from him, and we men, we learn skills acquisition such as building, computers, tailoring, carpentry, cosmology, etc.”

Binta Idris Jaji, also a student of the best center, said, “In fact, Dr. Hassan Gimba Ahmed recognized us as human beings. He encouraged us because “disabled” is not a failure. He enrolled us in this school to learn how to become self-reliant, and we took this program very seriously.

“In our own part as women, we learn a lot of things, such as making bags both big and small-sized, fashion, homemade cream, computers, earrings, among others.

“We pray Almighty Allah (SWT) gives him health and protects him and his family from something wrong. Dr. Hassan Gimba makes our lives so meaningful. We should continue praying for him for quick recovery at anytime.”
