Yobe Legislator distributes cash to constituency members

A member representing Potiskum central constituency in the Yobe State House of Assembly, Hon. Ahmed Adamu BBK alias Sarkin Ado has assisted the people of his constituency with a cash to cushion the hardships caused by the removal of fuel subsidy.

Speaking to Journalists shortly after the occasion, the lawmaker said, in our position they elected us even though we don’t have something considering the critical condition of our people are it is necessary for me to assist them with the little i have.

“We are many in Potiskum, despite i am not yet receiving salary, but by seen the situation of our people are the cost of living has become so hard let me assist orphans, disability and other people with the talking amount of money i have” Sarkin Ado said.

He said, we have 10 wards in Potiskum local government and from each ward we picks ten people some we give them #10,000 and some we give them #5,000 and currently we are able to assist 100 peoples.

The categories of the people who were benefitted from the Hon. Sarkin Ado assistance include, blinds, deafs, cripples, disables, women among others.

The lawmaker further said in two weeks coming we are going to pick 120 youths which there are now become a household, women with other disables people to give them palliatives and urged the beneficiaries to used this assistance in the way it will help them.

Hon. Ahmed Adamu BBK Sarkin Ado call on the stakeholders, rich men in the town to come out and assists the needed peoples with what ever you have in your hand if you assist God will help you, infact people are in a critical condition in a cost of life.
