Yobe new speaker assures of peaceful work with Executive

The New Speaker of the 8th Yobe State House of Assembly, Hon. Chiroma Buba Mashio has assured that he would work hand in hand with the executive arm of government for providing more dividend of democracy to the people of Yobe state.
Hon. Mashio started this today in his acceptance speech when he was elected as a new speaker of the Yobe state House of Assembly.
He commended the entire members of the house for giving him an opportunity to serve as speaker, adding that, he would give equal opportunities to all members in the house.
Hon. Chiroma Buba Mashio is a longest member in the Yobe state house of assembly since the restoration of democracy in 1999.
The new speaker representing Jajere constituency. Born on 25th May, 1968 in Mashio town of Fune local government area of Yobe state.
Members elected aa the principals officers of the house include, Hon. Yau Usman Dachia deputy speaker and Hon. Nasiru Hassan Yusuf leader of the house.
Others are Hon. Hassan Mohammed Yusufari deputy leader, Hon. Mohammed Auwal Isa Bello Chief-Whip and Hon. Ahmed Musa Dumbol Deputy Chief-Whip.
