Yobe: NUJ chairman commend Buni, Urges Journalists to be objective in reporting

The Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists Yobe state council, Comrade Rajav Mohammed has commended Governor Mai Mala Buni administration for providing working journalists in the state with an enabling environment to discharge their professional duties freely without intimidation, molestation or interference.

Comrade Rajav Mohammed said, “we feel it necessary to acknowledge the support Governor Mai Mala Buni is offering to journalists in the state.

The NUJ Chairman made the commendation in Damaturu while speaking to Newsmen, saying that the support extended to members of the union a true sense of belonging.

“You are expected as to be objective, cross check your facts and figures before going to press.” The NUJ Chairman said.

He used the forum to appeal to the NUJ members to remain professional in the discharge of their duties.

Comrade Rajav Mohammed thanked the practicing journalists in the state for their dedication and hard work which earned many of them awards of recognition and excellence.
