Yobe: PDP guber candidate charges association to work towards victory of the party in 2023

The People’s Democratic Party, Gubernatorial Candidate in Yobe State, Hon. Sheriff Abdullahi has charged the members of PDP Shadow Umbrella Association (Inuwan Lema) of Yobe North to work hard towards seeing that party wins during the 2023 general elections in the state.

Hon. Shariff Abdullahi gave the charge when he received members of the association who paid him a courtesy visit in Gashua.

He thanked the members for their efforts which indicate signs of their full support to the party and also command the manifesto of the association which includes the unity of PDP youths in Yobe state.

“We reiterate our commitment to continue supporting youths and urged them to continue with work which they put forward, adding that, we supposed to go and meet you in your houses but you come and visit us, so continue with this struggle to achieve our desire goal by winning the 2023 general elections.” Shariff said.

Speaking earlier, the Chairman of the association, Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Shariff said they were here to present our unflinching support to our gubernatorial candidate, Hon. Shariff Abdullahi.

He revealed that the association has over 1,114 members and the aims and objectives of creating the association is to unite the PDP youths to make sure that the party gets to victory in 2023 general elections.

Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Shariff commended the gubernatorial candidate for the support he always rendered to the youth. Adding that, by the Grace of God they will enter all the nook and corner of Yobe state to see that they unite the youths to support the party in the 2023 general elections.

Also speaking, the Treasurer of the party, Hajiya Fatima Mohammed Umar said they created the Shadow Umbrella Association to unite all the PDP youths in Yobe state for victory and hoping that the general election will be PDP all the way
