Yobe: Tikau Emirate promoted three title holders.

The Emir of Tikau in Yobe State, Alhaji (Dr.) Muhammadu Abubakar Ibn Grema LLD, has promoted three traditional title holders in the emirate.

The release further revealed the upgrading of the three traditional title holders following their recognition of their loyalty, contribution, and support rendered to the emirate council.
Those promoted from their former positions to the new positions are the former deputy governor of Yobe State, Alhaji Aliyu Saleh Bagare, who moved from Turaki to Madaki; Alhaji Suleiman A. Isah, the district head of Dawasa, who moved from Wali to Kaigama; and retired civil servant, Alhaji Sumaila Babale, who moved from Iya to Turaki.
In his brief acceptance speech, the new Madaki, Alhaji Aliyu Saleh Bagare, thanked the royal father, the emir of Tikau, Alhaji (Dr) Muhammadu Abubakar Ibn Grema LLD, for the recognition and the mandated giving to them.
The new Madaki also thanks the members of the Tikau emirate council, especially the Chiroman Tikau, Alhaji Ibrahim Talba CON, for their support and promises to work hard to see that the Tikau emirate council moves forward.
The date for their official turbaning will be announced later, the release added.
