Zulum rehabilitates Konduga LG secretariat after 20 years of neglect

The Chairman of Konduga Local Government Area, Abbari, has praised Governor Babagana Umara Zulum for renovating the LGA Secretariat, which had been in disrepair since 2000.

The Secretariat was abandoned due to the Boko Haram insurgency, but Governor Zulum has directed its rehabilitation as part of efforts to rebuild the area.

“The Governor’s commitment to rebuilding our community is commendable,” Mr. Abbari said. “We are grateful for his leadership.”

Also speaking, Special Assistant on Information and Internal Security, Mohammed Sheriff said the renovation is part of a broader effort to restore infrastructure and services in Konduga, including road construction, schools, and healthcare facilities.

According to Sheriff,”Governor Zulum’s efforts aim to restore normalcy and promote development in the area, devastated by the insurgency.”

He stressed that the Secretariat’s rehabilitation is expected to be completed soon, providing a better working environment for staff and improved services for the Konduga community.
