Buni marks World Prematurity Day, commissions’ health project in Yobe.

Yobe State Governor and Chairman APC CECPC, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, this week stunned those who do not believe in his ability to complete projects when he embarked on a 3-day commissioning spree of completed projects in Gujba, Damaturu and Bade Local Governments.

Today’s commissioning of the Special Baby Care Unit at Gashua Specialists Hospital which was fully constructed by Gov. Buni’s administration was yet another landmark achievement of Buni’s led government particularly in the area of reducing maternal mortality rate in the State.

Preterm birth and its complications are also believed to be one of the largest contributors to infant death; this urgent health crisis is significantly fueled by the health equity gap in our healthcare system. Commissioning of the edifice will go a long way in addressing this crisis frontally.

Gov. Buni’s administration since inception has been doing multiple activities to make the lives of mothers and children better.
