LG Elections: Senator Lawan voted in Yobe

President of the 9th Senate, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan, Ph.D., GCON, Sardaunan Bade, Yobe North Senatorial District, has today exercised his civil duty by voting in the Yobe State local government election at his polling unit in Katuzu ward, Bade Local Government Area.
“As a citizen, it is my responsibility to participate in the democratic process and contribute to the development of my beloved state.
“Our local government plays a significant role in delivering essential services to our respective communities, including education, healthcare, and infrastructure. It is, therefore, important that we elect leaders who have the vision, competence, and integrity to effectively represent our interests and improve our quality of life.
I believe that the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), whom I voted for today, share these values and will work tirelessly to make a positive difference in our local government. I am confident that their leadership will bring about progress and prosperity for all our residents.
He commends the Yobe State Independent Electoral Commission (YSIEC) for organizing a peaceful and credible election. Adding to that, the process was transparent and well-managed, ensuring that every voter had the opportunity to exercise their right to vote.
