Senator Lawan expressed sadness over the demise of former SA legal matters

Former Senate President, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan Ph.D., GCON, Sardaunan Bade, Yobe North Senatorial District, has said it is with so much sadness that I received the news of the passing of my former Special Adviser on legal matters, Barr. Musa Mai Suleh, when I held sway as President of the 9th Senate between 2019 and 2023.

In a condolence message signed by the former Senate President, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan, which was shared with newsmen in Damaturu, the Yobe state capital.

He died on Monday, 26th August, 2024, and will be buried according to Islamic rights at 1pm today, Tuesday, 27th August, 2024, in Kaduna state.

“Barr. Mai Suleh was a brilliant and dedicated legal practitioner who served me and the Nigerian Senate with distinction during his time as my special adviser.

“He was a trusted, confident, and valued member of my team who provided sound legal advice and guidance on a wide range of matters, Senator Lawan said.

According to the President of the Ninth Senate, His commitment to his work was matched only by his passion for justice and the rule of law.

“Beyond his professional accomplishments, Barr. Mai Suleh was a kind and compassionate individual, a devoted family man, and a cherished friend to many. His passing is a great loss not to me but to the entire legal community and the nation at large.

He extends his deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased.

May Allah (SWT) grant his soul rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.” Senator Lawan prays.
