Yobe Commends Labanese Construction Company, Mothercat

A Lebanese construction company Mothercat Nigeria Limited have been commended for execution a very qualitative work in Nigeria.

Alhaji Lawan Yaro Gambo a renown contractor in Yobe state said the construction company has executed many projects in Yobe state and Nigeria as a whole.

He said, the company has constructed many projects in Potiskum and other local government areas in Yobe state, adding that, the company also constructed a high way from Azare in Bauchi state to Potiskum and many projects across the country.

Alhaji Lawan Gambo revealed that the company is currently rehabilitation Potiskum to Gombe road and also now currently the company has under taking construction of roads and drainages in Potiskum town.

“Every where in Nigeria Mothercat Construction Company execution many projects where people are praising them for the good job, because it was lasting for many years before it need another repairs.” Lawan Gambo said.

Also other residents express their appreciation to Mothercat construction company, however, they said that, the construction company deserve commendation because they executed a very good work across Nigeria.

The residents maintained that, Mothercat is a largest construction company in Nigeria and it contributed alot in revamping the economy of the nation.

Speaking further, Alhaji Lawan Gambo said, the company has constructed many projects in Nigeria which include High ways, Housing, Bridges among others and also it boost the nation economy.

Alhaji Lawan Yaro Gambo urged the Federal and State governments to always patronize and give there projects to Mothercat construction company for executing them a qualitative work.

Ifelodun LG imposes 24 hour curfew across Oro-Ago District for clearance operation

A 24 hour curfew has been imposed on the entire Oro- ago District of Ifelodun council Area, Chairman Abdulrasheed Yusuf said in a statement recently.

The curfew which took effect from 6 am on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, was imposed in a coordinated effort by the council in conjunction with security agencies to put terrorists in disarray, take them out by combing the area and protecting lives and property of residents.

The statement signed by Abdulquadri Jimba who is the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, Ifelodun council area noted that “Within this period, there will be no human or vehicular traffic in the entire district.

“This is in support of the ongoing security clearance operation in the area. Further reviews of this measure will be communicated,” the statement noted.
