Zulum, Shettima lead Borno’s delegation to Sani Dangote’s funeral

Borno Governor, engineer Babagana Zulum alongside Senator Kashim Shettima on Wednesday, led a high-powered delegation to attend the funeral ceremony of the vice president of the Dangote group, Sani Dangote in Kano city. 

A release from the governor’s spokesman Isa Gusau stated that Sani Dangote died on Sunday in a Maiami hospital in the United States of America, after a protracted illness. 

Sani was a younger brother to Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, who has offered the highest individual humanitarian support to Borno state in the wake of lingering crises due to the Boko Haram insurgency.

Others included in the Borno delegation were Senators Mohammed Ndume and Abubakar Kyari.

Also were the state Chair of the All Progressive Congress APC, Ali Dalori, Chief Whip of the House of Representatives,  Mohammed Monguno, and House member representing Gwoza/Damboa/Chibok, Ahmad Jaha, alongside other Government officials.
